f03n1x65798yA dev left their company email in the app because it seems they don't understand that after testing a hard-coded value it's best to just remove it no comment it out.
This company are scum they promote the whole we will develop an app for you and give you this crap, developers that I guess they found off the street LOL on their site to get hired you fill out some programming test, I guess it must be easy all things considering.
The company I work for are not the greatest when it comes to technology but these guys forgot they were hosting our servers and despite ending the contract we had to go and negotiate what exactly needed to be done in order to give us our own server - money grubbing little pricks, since I was new at the time to server sided setup, and since I don't know too many people that could help set it up we paid them to set it up, easiest $4000 according to their logs it took them a whole 10 mins to setup, their invoice claimed 24 hours, yeah right!
Code janitor out! -
That seems the product of a "receive by the line of code written" kind of outsourcing...
Never a good way to measure good coding but if you don't review the deliverables you will have that kind of crap... -
f03n1x65798yYeah that is true, well this company knows nothing of the software development industry CEO still calls me a IT geek, honestly they are living in the past.
Lots of things wrong with this company, for instance people have multiple roles which on occasion has lead to overlap in what is due and such.
I got hired due to needing a developer to update their app and I'm no where near experienced enough to give advice to my boss on in all forms of how to handle everything about the app and such. But he expects me to be which I guess throws me into the whole deep end and learn to swim situation, good thing out of it is I've been very good a couple things companies need, working well by myself, time management, learning new skills quickly.
Only thing I can take from this job really, which will help me get a better job, hopefully.
Just grateful I have a job, spent 6 months after graduation looking for one only to get hired by recommendation of a friend not by my actual CV :/
I know I rant about how bad the app is I have to update on at work is but seriously first week into this job I found skeleton code from a taxi app, it wasn't in English and lately I found some code from some sort of funeral app wtf!
This just takes copying and pasting to a whole new fucking level!
