@atheist Correct! I’ve added a note in my field manual for interviewing to be more of a stickler on this point next time.
I can already see some of the signs at this place 6 months in I’m gonna be interviewing again come spring.
Interviewer: “I agree, companies should stop calling people devops engineers, devops is a culture”
Me: “I’m glad you see it that way too”
*weeks later*
Interviewer, now new boss: “and this is our DevOps Engineer, Jeff”
