The project is nowhere near complete, the customers are waiting for demo/proof of concept. the code is spaghetti and I'm burned out.

Oh, and I'm a solo dev.

    The best part is when your CEO talks to the client without any engineering input and assures them that the app is simple, he could do it in a weekend, and then moves up the deadline… by a substantial amount.

    Though it *is* hilarious when said CEO ends up *trying* to finish it in a weekend before the big demo only to realize it’s harder than he thought it was and only really manages to lock every other developer out of the repo.
