thedev11838y@iAmNaN I don't think so as the Custom runtimes let you whatever you want (even ms-word if you want lool) as long as you have a dockerfile and your child container listens on port 8080. They don't care about what happens inside.

iAmNaN71308y@thedev have you tried the steps at https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/... ? That is assuming you are using a MySql database.

thedev11838y@iAmNaN that's what I use and it really mustn't be the "recommended" way as it's an overkill and in the one container environment that is custom runtime (the link you sent is for kubernetes and other things that can work like docker-compose) it requires you add it in your entry point script etc. Boring dude. I believe google didn't want us to do such thing.
