Any 4 working day employees here? How do you feel about it? Really wish my company did that haha

I'd prefer 6h work day instead of 4 day work week. It gives me additional time every day instead of longer weekend.

Unless schools have a four day week, the extra day off is pretty useless for me.

However, the idea sounds interesting, especially if implemented correctly, which is 8 hours a day, 4 days a week. I saw a post where an Indian company was switching to a 4 day week, with 12 hour days 😳

I'm technically a contractor at the moment so I don't really follow normal "work rules", however, I'll say this -

It's nice to have a flexible schedule or more freetime than you'd expect in most places, but it's not really the culprit. You don't need more time off, you need a better job & more appropriate levels of responsibility.

I find it easy to work a lot, even in a way that makes me feel great, if I like the work I am doing or if it makes me happy. If it doesn't, well, then that extra day off might help, but only a little. So my advice for people out there - don't look for a company that has 4 working days, but look for a job that makes you feel great instead. The end result will be a lot better.
