First games console ever tried: NES. Around 1986.

First computer:
Sinclair Spectrum +2 !! Around 1988. I used to buy those books that came with code. I wrote all that code in but hardly ever played the actual game.
Once met the guy who created lots of game faves at the time (manic miner, chucky egg etc). That's where it all started...

Me too. I had the +2 and then eventually an NES.
Used to type in all that code and then it wouldn’t work because of a typo or a misprint.

The worst part of the +2 was when games would need you to fast forward or rewind to a certain point on the cassette but the built in cassette player didn’t have one of those counters on it so it was guess work

@TrevorTheRat my friend out-did me and got a +3. Posh git. I didn't care. Disks were boring.

Side-note. My first PC was an Amstrad Mega PC. Look that one up if you've never heard of it. What an idea!

@ojt-rant I’ve never even heard of a mega pc. It looks good, even mega drive compatible.

My friend upgraded from his zx81 to a +3. At first I just didn’t understand how you could rewind the disks 😆

@TrevorTheRat it's time they bring out a miniature, retro version of the sinclair.
