The new samsung s8 phones: not much innovation but great execution!

I'm one of those who get irrationally annoyed at 4:3 video played at a 16:9 aspect. It's this same feeling that's turned me off of Samsung phones until they stop wrapping the sides of their screens, causing annoying af distortion.

My G6 arrives Wednesday.

There's not really much more to innovate. Better batteries or cameras maybe, but that's mostly it. Pretty much anything you could imagine in a smartphone has been added already. Things are waterproof, dust resistant, have fingerprint scanners, cameras, pressure sensitive displays, voice recognition, face recognition, etc..

Wish I could afford a LG V20 though, my note 4 is dying :(
