It just never works when you try to set up self hostet php apps never theyre all shit they never print any useful errors they just randomly pass wrong args they use fucking ioncube fuck everything

    @bighead if you’re not competent enough to get a PHP app running, why do you even take clients that want you to work with that? Oh probably because no one wants to work with shit like Django… (okay, I have no personal experience of it, but if we’re talking a web app here, why on Earth would you want to use Python for it?)

    @rEaL-jAsE hmmm… for a side project, I’d probs use ASP.NET over PHP myself, but… and this one’s a big but, if commissioned to build a web app for a client, provided the specs don’t neccessitate a different approach, you can’t really go wrong with PHP in my experience. If I want to be done with it quick and just get my money and not worry about it being buggy, that is. If I’m being paid hourly, and want to milk the client for the dough, I might choose something more laborious, like ASP.NET.
