@Treighton - we pushed the feature in an Android update last night. The iOS update was submitted last night and is waiting for review. It should be live early this coming week!

Are there meant to be push notifications, or is that a later release?

@linux-colonel there are pushes right now. I think this update adds an in-app location to consume them as well.

What @bauermetal said is correct. Push notifications are already available on both iOS and Android. The new notification screen adds a counter indicator on the top left menu icon and in the menu. The screen itself shows you all the activity (+1, comments) on your rants and also +1's on your comments and when there's a new reply on a rant you've commented on.

It makes it much easier to see everything you've missed when you log on stuff that happens while you're in-app.
