Does anyone else have a home screen widget that is their contact details as a QR code?

And has anyone found a not-shit android app that'll do it?

I CBA to make one but also it's really useful. I hacked it together with an app that'll scan a QR code and display it as a widget.

    Why don't you just generate a QR code as PNG and put that into your wallpaper?

    @Fast-Nop takes about the same effort, but then isn't changeable. Also means I'd have to get rid of my constellation background.

    @FallingUpwards there is... Making the qr code on some random website isn't that hard, but it is a faff.

    @atheist If you don't want an online tool, there's "qrencode" in your distro's package manager. Works nicely and with detailed options e.g. for the level of error correction that you want.

    @Fast-Nop OK, so, anyone wanna make that into an app with a vaguely usable UI? I... Am lazy.

    @atheist With such tools, I usually figure out the options once (which you'd have to do even with a GUI), then save that into a script and never care again.
