It's amazing how people outside of IT don't understand how there are literally hundreds of different jobs in IT. In this line of thought I kind of understand the sentiment of "you work with computers, you should be able to fix my printer". I don't agree with it, but I understand it.

Mum: it's weird, why does this person send bold and colored words in their email replies?
Me: That looks like a scammy email, what was it for?
Mum: oh we put some furniture for sale online and this person bought it. They said they sent us the money on Paypal.
Me: did you actually check your Paypal balance?
*Mum checks Paypal balance and sees no payment has been made*
Mum: shit I just brought it to the postal office for delivery.

Luckily we were able to reach the postal office and they contacted the courrier before it was delivered :D
