I hate fucking "managers"

The idiot that got a referral bonus, and kept it, is one.

Ffs I helped her for months in my previous company. Now she probably makes more than me.

    Ehhh, I dunno. I kinda think referral bonuses don't have to be shared. Many of the companies that pay them also give sign on bonuses.

    @atheist fair enough, they don't have to. I just thought she was my friend, and it took her 3 secs to recruit me.

    Sure she's not obligated, but in her shoes?

    Also because she doesn't really put effort in her work, it feels extra sour

    @jaylord to be honest, referral bonuses are not intended to be payment of work but as an incentive for people with contacts to refer candidates.

    And its also not intended to be shared, even if between friends it happens.

    So unless she tricked you to accept the job, as in lying about things, or promised to share you really should not expect her to do so.
