@dfox, there's still occasionally some weird stuff happening when my phone is on rotate. (Sadly I don't know how I did this.)
I'd be glad to help if you need anything from me.

Weird, because for me, the app can't even rotate

@filthyranter No, the app doesn't rotate, but this issue arises when I have rotation enabled on my phone.

@SZenC hmm wierd even when i force rotation on this app i can't reproduce it on android 5.0.1 i guess I'll look at the android source tree to see if anything changed for rotation between 5 and 7.1

But a quick fix for this would be to make a portrait xml for the app

Hmm the rotation file hasn't been updated since 2013 which means it should be reproducable for me unless you're using a custom rom or the company that made your phone decided to add a 'feature'

@jckimble I don't use a custom ROM or anything, just a stock Nexus 5X. But I myself don't know how the hell I did it, I wasn't expecting much from you guys either.

    Thanks, I'll check that out.

@dfox @jckimble I just found out how I did it.
Open some app that supports rotation (I used Deezer), then lock your device. Now activate it and tap on a DevRant notification to open it (all while keeping your device sideways), login and hey presto, the UI is fucked up.

    Hope this helps!
