A social site needs notifications to retain users. Since there are few users a daily email newsletter of all posts is enough while you work on other crucial features like some kind of mobile support (the vast majority of traffic to most websites is from mobile).

I still haven’t setup email thing on server, currently focusing on functionalities of website like search and location system. I saw your comments and cluster is definitely one of the thing on my mind.
