devRant already replace SoundCloud as my orange app in the main screen...

To be fair, SoundCloud was just there to complete the rainbow.

Rant: this app told me that my rant would be safe if I closed the Post Rant window (since I can't post more than one rant per hour or something) but it didn't save my awesome tags! I feel betrayed.

    Yeah, tags don't save. I learned that the hard way. Try copying them to the bottom of your rant, and cut them back into the tags when you're ready to post. ^~^

    Ohh hai.. Just noticed it was you! Wow.. You're all over the place..

    @Cyanite and I even remembered the weird scientific name of the color blindness my brother has, those tags were beautiful.

    @Cyanite it's hard for me to connect with classmates so I'm glad I found devRant. All my friends studied cinema or drama or economics and here I am starting yet another degree surrounded by kids two thirds my age...

    @cpt-ado I'm a few months shy of 21, so I can't relate. Lol

    @Cyanite I've been 31 for two weeks and my brain still thinks I'm 25...

    @cpt-ado My brain thinks I'm 12 ;3

    @Cyanite At 12 computers were a mystery to me, got my first at 16... Third world countries can be challenging

    @cpt-ado I got my first PC at 15. And I meant in how i act..

    Running through the rain, splashing in puddles as i walk.

    Pestering my sister..

    Obsessing over Pizza, Candy(chocolate) and Video Games.

    @Cyanite see, I'm too old to follow a conversation, I just start rambling about the good old days... Everything but the puddle jumping describes me (I don't have waterproof shoes yet). By the way, is the player of your game supposed to be a hacker from the start or does he get contacted by a deep web character or finds a machine with some never tested software or just learns from scratch?

    @cpt-ado Uhhmmm... Yes. Lol

    @cpt-ado Curentally, you start out as a hacker. You start of with an email, and you follow it. Learning along the way. In the future the game will have more to do than just hacking, and thus that will be something you have to seek out. If you want to learn more (and help me in the process!) I can send you an everNote link to my Patreon description (my Patreon isn't up yet, but i have everything written in everNote) you can learn more about my game, and maybe proof read it at the same time?

    @Cyanite didn't mean to intrude, here's the link for the game I mentioned: http://scoutshonour.com/digital/
    The story is nice but the hacking is lacking...

    @Cyanite hacking games with good stories are rare but I'm more compelled to play those than just the ones that are coding puzzles, also a retro setting simplifies the UI and the command prompt has a more hackery feel to it than other tools. With Digital I felt the game was too short and there were no real puzzles, but the old interface make it a very enjoyable experience.

    @cpt-ado Have you tried HackNet? Also "else: heart.break()" is supposed to be really good.
  • 2
    @cpt-ado Also, you're in luck. My game /will/ support player-made missions/campaigns, and that will allow for some nice re-play ability!

    And also random player stories are interesting! Players don't have rules to follow, and that leaves huge doors open when they're designing mods.

    @Cyanite I'll buy it after finals, it looks amazing... I'm shutting myself down now. Bye.

    @cpt-ado Good night! ^~^

    Just stopping by because of the tags. I'm color blind.
  • 1
    @ryanmhoffman do you know the scientific name of your condition?
  • 0
    @cpt-ado I think it's something like deutan color vision deficiency. Spelling on that may be a bit off. Basically red and green are the same color to me and I can't distinguish shades of other colors.

    @ryanmhoffman my brother has dico-something, he can't distinguish between green, blue, gray and brown
