I almost never enter a commit message for my private git repos. Sometimes I even forget what I did to some of the files (Unreal Engine files are mostly binary except the config and c++ files, so not that easy to check for changes). That combined with my bad attitude to change some stuff here, then fix a minor bug there and then start something completely unrelated leads me just saying fuck it and commiting without message.
