Test the same thing, in multiple places.

I dont see this as something bad.

@Linux not necessarily but it does make the suite run that bit slower and takes that bit longer..
Being on an hourly pay I guess you see where it's going :)

I guess what I should learn is to write larger features tests that tests most of everything for a given scope in one fel swoop..

I just kinda like my unit -> feature -> (optionally) browser tests... ;D
