Why management loves to have excessive meetings about something that can be easily solve with one email or a text?

    It's their job to be in meetings, talk to people. If they write the one minute email instead of the one hour meeting, then they need to find something else to do or they might look like they are redundant for the company.

    Because if don't do meetings and waste the time of actually working employees, they won't have a reason to blame anyone for delays and problems occured. And also they will be seen as useless people who just look after people doing job and telling them how to do their job...

    This almost happened to me yesterday. The manager was wondering why our deploy was delayed. While we were in the middle of building prod she called asking if we needed to have a meeting to resolve anything. I just said, "No, that would take longer."
