I see why dfox chose to hide downvotes...

My reaction: why the fuck would anyone even bother to downvote ...?

But now I have a dilemma.... do I keep this feature or not? I kinda get a tingly feeling being able to know how many ppl hate a post.... WTF right?

I downvote things that aren't rants so they disappear from my feed.

@iam13islucky hm.... i see... yea i never have that problem in my desktop app since it filters out any I've already seen.

I thought the Algo does that now too though?

@billgates it does, and fills it with shit from months ago, I use recent.

@billgates meh, I'm done with seeing stuff I've seen before, I just don't want non-rants. Memes and pointless pics can go die :)

@g-m-f ah I see, I only downvote reposts... And it's sorta a strange relationship between me n Algo.

My app usually gets all the rants for the day so I think it screws up the Algo on my phone, it thinks I've read everything... Unless I see things in the phone first... But then I re-see in my app...

Downvoting is definitely useful
