What's wrong with PHP? I've been using it for ~15 years and love it.

Honestly, I think php is a quite benevolent language. After only working with it intensively for a few weeks I can now make this baby dance to the beat of most use cases. Python and Java made it harder for me in the beginning tbh.

Just ignore everthing < v7 and force strict mode. I script in PHP like I program in C++ or C#

I dont get people yelling at PHP. As a matter of fact you cant code web pages in C++. So why do people compare languages for different purposes. PHP is love, PHP is life.
