Ever noticed whenever you actually need a friend, none of them can be reached?

Technology has failed me. Where is my robot companion?

    It applies to robots as well

    @electrineer how?

    If you were on discord, I'd call you instead. But you have failed me too! ☚ī¸

    Friends are a lie. Just like the cake

    Too specific. Do you wanna me to be your friend?

    "where's my robot companion?"

    As I'm listening to Mike Ladd..

    "5,000 Years West of The Future"

    "..where's my utopia.."

    i've considered it to be normal since childhood:

    a friend was always someone who reaches out to me when they need something. i always had many friends.
    nobody had me as a friend though.

    The bacteria, fungi, and tiny critters inside my apartment make sure to never leave me alone 😊 So blessed to have a solid support structure â˜ēī¸đŸ˜Œ

    Too relatable.
    All those “I will always be here” people are nowhere to be found.

    And if I reach out they might respond, but there’s never a conversation, just a few quiet replies before the silence sets in again.

    It’s depressing.

    @Midnight-shcode holyshit is thay sad dude. I kind of realized you and I are the same on this.

    If brevity is the soul of wit, you'd be the Shakespearean of one liner tradegy.

    You cut me deep shrek. You cut me real deep.

    @Wisecrack
    i'm going to try and pretend i don't think that was meant sarcastically :)

    @Midnight-shcode it wasnt meant sarcastically.

    I run a suicide hotline. It's supposed to be me and a few others, but typically I'm the only one that answers.
