who the fuck decided macos not showing the file path in finder etc is the default

also not having a home directory available by default in the side bar

    @magicMirror lol I remember that - it's horrifying. As it is my offspring doesn't seem to have the concept, but we don't exactly have the time to teach what their computing teachers should be doing

    Finder really sucks at finding files. Can't even point directly to them...

    Finder is awful. I basically live in the terminal instead when I have to use a Mac.

    On Linux I've had the best file managers of all major osses..
    You can enter any location even sftp or WebDAV. Quick filters, mass rename with regex support. The list goes on

    @BubblePOP umm what ! I used all 3 file manager and i loved linux the most, and guess what, you can easily change your file manager if you don't like what you're using ;)
