IE is dead ?!

NOT SO FAST.

The whole singin in Visual 2022 uses... Internet explorer renderer and... doesn't work on a Windows Server 2022 because of... "Enchanced internet explorer security policy".

I'm dying inside.

    @pleuph Technology is amazing - but that is just mediocre software...

    if you wanna get technical, the whole explorer still has builtin ie renderer, which it still (at least partially) uses to render views of folder contents

    Which version of vs2022? I'm quite sure they use webview2 (edge) for several versions already (cannot double check now)

    Problem I had on a laptop recently not accessing the internet. Solution something (maybe not of this world?) had changed proxy settings in IE which still affects all of Windows
