@theKarlisK ngl I do like heartstone, there are very few card games I do not like. And I agree man, hard to step into intellectual copyright, but I can only try. This shit is going to take me a while since I am building everything from *scratch* (because, well, Vulkan so not really scratch) but I will try

I like card games and have looked at a gameplay video of Phantom Dust. What does it have to do with card games? It looks like some action arena fighting game.

@Lensflare The game was directed by Yukio Futatsugi, who wanted to make a card game originally, but after some discussions with the company that owns the game(Microsoft of all places lol) they decided to make it appeal to the people that liked arena combat using a "card style combat"
You have a series of skills that your character uses called the Asenal(think of a deck) and each skill has different captions and functionality. There are attacks skills, defensive skills, power up skills, and aura, which is essentially mana. Skills appear in the form of white orbs near your character, similar to drawing cards from your deck.
As @ojt-rant said, it is free man :D if you have the chance I definitely recommend checking it out -
@Lensflare skeptical for? and do let me know what you think man! I think there is room for improvement in the game, but thus far it is scoring pretty good for me

Today I got hit in the balls by finding out that my idea of a videogame already existed in the form of a game called Phantom Dust, originally released for the first Xbox series, before the end of turn into the Xbox 360 series.
What adds insult to injury: The game is absolutely beautiful, fantastic and I have no gripes about the gameplay. It is everything I was hoping to develop.
This just makes my venture into game development in the land of Vulkan C that much more interesting.
If you LOVE card games(read Trading Card Games) like MTG, Pokemon, YugiOh etc, then you owe it to yourself to play this game
