Number of times that's saved me when some other program decides to brick my Mac (because why would Chrome need a second tab)

I also sometimes use PhpStorm, but I'm used to press ctrl + s automatically.

My problem is that old habits die hard, although JetBrains has autosave I mash ctrl+s every time I want to recompile or reload.

@Gelo147 And it's the opposite for me. I got used to never having to press ctrl-s in IntelliJ and now when I'm working in Vim, I wonder why my new code doesn't seem to compile.

What if I tell you I use intellij and still press ctrl+s a couple of times before compiling just to be sure ?

I open Atom and type 'i' before typing anything

I use IntelliJ a bit and never even noticed an autosave feature ._.

And @linuxxx: I used NetBeans quite a lot for C++/gtkmm development
