Is there anyone who likes that all the development tools are switching to subscription model?

My development tools are free -_-

Please elaborate furthermore - not all (actually, only tiny fraction) development tools use subscription model.

Subscription -> replace.
I shouldn't have to pay to be allowed to code.

Yes, I realize they're tools and took considerable development time, but ongoing charges are not acceptable. Free, open source, or single-purchase. Nothing else.
