How often do you experience someone pitching an idea they want developed, which is so poorly thought through that when you ask them to elaborate, they turn sour and you never hear from them again?

Asking pitchers to elaborate is actually my favourite thing to do. It has decreased my to do-list enormously.

Very often. I ask how will you market it? How will you cost effectively reach your audience?

I do the same. A lot of the time I get "dude, why are you always SO NEGATIVE???"

This dude I know came up to me with an idea that was essentially BandCamp, no wait, it was totally BandCamp. So I told him "Isnt that exactly what BandCamp is? How are you going to be better than them?" he just stopped talking and acted like I killed his billion dollar unicorn.
