kamen69252yPick up a tutorial for either where they show building a certain app and use the concepts shown there to build something different - this way you don't end up copying the original thing and just changing variable names. Show that in a public repo. Some learning experience is better than no experience at all.

DevRage50432y@kamen thanks, my issue is with the salary, most companies would say you dont have x amount of experience to ask for a salary using x technology, what are your thoughts about this?
-
yehaaw25682y@DevRage If you have a junior experience level with these frameworks and you’re asking senior experience salary then they are right.
-
DevRage50432y@yehaaw i see, i have senior experience with a different framework but i want to shift to another framework currently, that's my dilemma

kamen69252y@DevRage The more experience you have, the easier it should be for you to switch to something new - and you should be able to explain and demonstrate this to the interviewer.

yehaaw25682y@kamen This.
Also, present yourself as software engineer with X amount of experience. Don’t be a <insert_framework> developer. They should understand the difference. The salary discussion should go easier.
Any suggestions or advice for me, i want to have a laravel or angular based work, but dont have experience on angular but i have some experience with laravel, any suggestions or advice regarding my concern.
