To any games programmers here (I feel so lonely surrounded by these Web devs)

If I tree falls in a scene with no audio listeners does it still make a sound...

    No, because sound mean speakers, requiring audio listeners. Now does it make a sound object is another question 😁😁

    My theory is that the tree should never have fallen because it should not have been loaded as nobody was around.

    How does that *sound* to you?

    It does and it doesn't. Both at the same time.

    Resources are being spent generating the sound, so it does make a sound. The user can't hear it but your processor hears those 1's and 0's loud and clear.
