- Be me (Dev)
- Develop website for client that has an online payment integration.
- Notice there is no one for QA and testing.
- Try to raise voice about it but get shot down by management.
- Get order to push the project to production (because the deadline has arrived, therefore the project must be ready)
- Production performance has an error margin of 15% (customers getting their card over/under charged)
- Get blamed and flamed for everything cuz well, its all the dev's fault.

Probably log that payment system is not QA verified in your jira comments and attach the mail to the same wherein mgmt shot down your QA request ... Might help you save face

P.S : your situation screams red flags , maybe look for another opportunity or escalate

Damn.. I just had flash backs of when a junior dev "accidentally" sent a hybrid mobile app with an in-app-browser component that loaded a WIP web view that was later removed.

Fuck knows how it passed Apple's review process, but yeah.. I got flamed big time for that one.
