Why would you not push in 4 months? There are all sorts of policies for what a pushed branch should look like, and many of them are good, but if the rules lead to not syncing for months on end something is clearly very wrong.

You are not a good dev if you don't know that hard drive recovery tools exist like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard etc.

This is not even an inconvenience and here you are ranting about it. SMH.
