Voxera115858yAs far as I have heard it could not attack windows 10. Which means a lot of private computers was secure.
Also, it spread as a worm from one to another which means that it probably had trouble getting through any home router and it has to get into the network to do damage.
And the actual original spread seems to have targeted companies, they are more likely to pay up if they failed to keep backups.
Privet computers might not contain anything valuable enough unless you failed to backup photographs. -
From what i understand Microsoft fixed the bug in question a few months ago so it really only hits idiots who don't keep their systems updated.
