    I can recommend that *). You can make better decisions when you are free. It's the same with relationships btw.

    *) If you have at least some savings or live in country with basic social system naturally. Don't try this at home US kids.

    @nanos Sure it depends, where you are and in what situation. Where I live, survival is not the problem. It's not very likely to become homeless or such when you are a resident and able to fill the files for social aid. Also the market is so desparate for software developers, and if not that, every single fucking coffee shop is looking for a barista.

    I absolutely recommend staying in one job until you get the next one. Apart from anything else, it makes you significantly more likely to get the next one (and also more likely that it'll be a step up). Stick with what you have until you find something you want to move to.

    I did that 3 times in a row and it seems that 4th is on its way. The thing is that every time I did that I had savings for at least the next 6 months and I planned to have at least 2 months off.

    Last time it was actually 4 months between the jobs and it was ok.

    I am currently in the same position as you, I started to feel that shitty feeling in the morning before the job. It just means its time to move on.
