Ill probably make it permanent evantually .... it just sucks that unity3d is bad for linux currently. Thats the only downside for me..... now im trying to figue out the swap thing 😂 i have for 4gb ram so ill probably go with 4gb swap.. we'll see

@oscarascal same, installed Ubuntu on the side of Windows, used Windows 3 times in the shown of a month and the rest was Ubuntu. Ended up removing Windows all together

You know, I forgot I still had Windows until just now. Haven't touched it in months since starting with Ubuntu.

Use the Gnome version... They're ditching Unity now.. :(

Sad life.... im getting this "unusable space" thing... so no linux for me today... ill see if i can solve this, i think cuz i already have 4 partitions

@Abdullah97 check whether your partition table is MBR or GPT

@bugHunter its MBR.... and as far as i remember it only supports 4 main partitions.... i think ill either have to delete some, or do some research on logical partitons or something like that

@Abdullah97 create an extended partition.
Inside that extended partition, you can create multiple logical partitions. Install your new os in that logical partition.

PS: do not make Windows' partition as extended partition
