Many ATMs here in India are planning to upgrade from Windows XP due to the wannacry ransomware attacks.
I literally want wannacry to seize my data so that i can go ahead and pay them 600$ to do something that even the FUCKING GOVERNMENT wont do.

    good luck with that. the reason ATMs cannot upgrade from winxp is because of the horrible 20 years old hardware. It can't run win7 or better, and developong the thing in linux will not fly because if bank regulation.

    @magicMirror well I am absolutely certain they aren't upgrading the hardware so all my hopes are down now.

    even better way of loosing data is to do

    rm -rf / --no-root-preserve
