That's one of the reasons I love Rider. Maybe check that out. It's an amazing IDE that doesn't suck and is much faster as an additional bonus.

@ISeeSharpToo I use Pycharm and IntelliJ daily for my work and personal projects. Compared to them, Visual Studio is an early access alpha product. The lack of local history is particularly egregious.

Local history and keyboard shortcuts that make sense are but two of the many many reasons Jetbrains products can’t be beat. The only downside is they are somewhat less performant, but the tradeoff is more than worth it.

@cuddlyogre can't speak for PyCharm and IntelliJ, but Rider is definitely far more performant than Visual Studio is.

And agree with the shortcut. To comment and uncomment code in Rider: CTRL + /, which makes sense as comments are //
    VS: CTRL + K + C to comment and CTRL + K + U to uncomment.

Thanks for the tips about rider. For now I'm stuck with VS (we bought the license). Next time i'll give it a shot

Maybe you once try Xcode. Then you will love all other IDE's. Promise.
