Quit being a developer to pursue nursing informatics, didn't realize how tough nursing school was. AHHH! good morning everyone!

What made you switch?

Easier to find a job if I were to move, and salary is pretty good.

Where are you having a tough time finding a developer job? In my experience in CA, dev jobs are pretty high demand and salary is typically 70k+ usually much more.

I met a guy at the local hospital where my daughter was born. He had me use a web app to fill out our information on an iPad. He then told me that he does .NET work for them (including the web app) and the hospital was paying (forcing) him to become an RN before paying for graduate school for an IT degree. He liked.

A nurse developer, go figure.
