I once bought a wrist watch back in the days which could record and playback sound. The instructions manual table of content mentioned "transfer music wirelessly to your watch". I'm like "cool let's do that". Turned to the page that would tell me how. I started reading "press record on the watch, press play on your stereo, hold the watch about five inches away from the speaker for the duration of the song...".
I'm like "meh!" 😒

I imagine a desk and chair that moves on a horizontal rail, and a speaker on the far wall of an office, and you just move the desk closer or farther to listen to the speaker output
