I was at a contest a few weeks ago (24 hour kind of contest). Teams of 3, they are not familiar with git, but it was the easiest and fastest way to share our work. I told them all they have to do is branch, commit and push their work (we did this in uni, it was fresh info) and by all means DO NOT MODIFY the same file at the same time as I don't know how to solve a conflict. Long story short, I go to sleep, they both work on master, on the same file. I wake up, they've been trying to fix it up for the past hour, shouting how shit git is and how they hope this shit of a tool is forgotten by everyone so we can all go back to sharing code via email. At one point in the rage one of them says something amog the lines of "who the fuck invented this piece of garbage, what kind of sad retard can come up with this". Useless to say I'm not working with them since.

@CSaratakij I told them. One of them is a windows fanboy and hates linux with a passion so he went on to talk shit about linux too. This reminded me of another story with the same guy.
We have a group on whatsapp for our college with most of the students. Some girl posted a link to a news article from some shady local newspaper. The article was about car manufacturers who want to put linux on their cars. In the same article they say today's cars use android or some apple stuff. Our hero steps in saying "great, linux on cars, that's what we all needed". A few people joined him saying how shit it would be. I step in to break the news for them, linux is a fuckin kernel (we studied this last semester and you all passed somehow), android is based on it, so cars with android already have linux, that article is garbage and you are morons.
