An intern tried to run my company's local development server on his 4gb ram laptop once. It crashed everytime. And he did it again and again because he didn't believe me that 4gb of ram can't handle shit because his laptop could "run FIFA 16 smoothly". Needless to say, I laughed everytime his laptop crashed.

@meain yeah, the phone has got old, used to be the handsome guy they called "Asus ZenFone 2", fucked too many girls during his time, now he is outdated, nothing major, off to the 8GB RAM one plus 5, shall we ?

    I have Intel i5 integrated graphics 1.6GHz with 4gb ram ...

I think you have a typo there:
    8gb ram can't do sh*t

Or it can, but just barely. Try to run a virtual server, an IDE and Chrome (with a few, carefully selected tabs) at the same time, on a MacBook Pro. It's a pain in the shall-I-say-where. Mainly because half of the RAM is already used by the freaking OS :D

    How I wish I had asked for a 16gb model, I just didn't think I'd need it...

@Jop- Well, I don't know about efficiency, but if I'm not careful, some of those things start to have out-of-memory issues and even crash. Some breathing room would be nice anyway, so I wouldn't have to be so careful what I open and when.

The truth is, I don't know how I reach the memory limit so fast with so little. :/
