FUCK U GOOGLE PHOTOS, I MANUALLY UPLOAD PHOTOS FROM THE APP AND THEN DELETE ONE FROM THE WEB APP FROM MY PC BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT THAT ONE UPLOADED.....
BUT IT DELETED IT ON MY PHONE.... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesson of the Day: Manually copy all photos to PC and external HD first. Then upload the ones you want.

This is taking a while.... i wonder if i have enough disk space.....

    Seems very unlikely?

Wait, if your mobile photos are synced with Google, even if you upload it manually, Google will still know that the picture is from phone and it will delete the synced photo. Which makes sense. Because for Google, there's no difference.

@tahnik thats why i'm backing it up from my phone first to HD now.... but the fact that Photo's behaviour is so strange and non-intuitive is just BAD.

Let's pick an extreme example, you went to a nightclub and took pics. Of course you want to keep them but you don't want those uploaded to Google... (I plan to share the one's I uploaded with family and colleagues and maybe the public)

@RazorSh4rk well the fact that this makes absolutely no sense and seems to be the result of monkeys..... kinda makes me think who actually gets hired.....

@azuredivay well the + for Photos is unlimited storage (if using their HD format)

Hm... maybe I shouldn't bother keeping the DNGs... just touch up the ones that look bad and delete the rest?

Guess that's 1 more BIG thing to add to my TODO list...
