The post button should say "Commit"

or "push" xD

More like "push". Commit would stay on your phone and when you press push, it would post all the rants commited. Actually, it could allow both. :)

@pagongski true, there's a feature to save your rant if 2 hours haven't elapsed since the last rant posted. That is like waiting to push a committed rant. If rants are repost of each other those could be in conflict. To update rants displayed when opening the app, you'd have an option to checkout. And so on

All poor people not using any VCS won't understand a thing though!

I'll go for commit or push, but then I want full source control over my posts and comments. I want to be able to fork others rants as well!

Haha. App development should seriously consider doing this.

No, when you click post you're most likely performing a POST request which means calling it post is both easy to digest and has the "cool" double meaning thing. Calling it commit just doesn't make sense and sounds tacky, unless of course devRant was storing everything in some weird git based database thingy.. then it would be ok I guess
