So the time has come for me to officially say "Fuck IE".

The potential client, one of the major hospital chain in the country, wants the site to work in Internet Explorer. Can't believe they are still clinging on stupid IE because Google Chrome is insecure 😂

There is no way all the charts and graphs we made would work in IE.

To top it off, the "bluffon" boss came up with idea of using flash to display this features on IE.

It's fucking 2017!!

Been there. They have apps that only work in I.E. so they want the new apps to work in I.E. too. We were restricted regarding javascript as well. It was only when absolutely necessary. I get laughed at all the time when I mention these experiences.

Well in some European countries Chrome is not advised because it calls home sometimes and that's not compliant with the new privacy laws! (shall search for a link)

@linuxxx then we would need to uninstall all browsers from the pcs.

@stop Nahh with Firefox you can disable it easily. I still have to do a test with chrome to see if it calls home after disabling though! Only i don't want proprietary Google code on my systems so will probs run or n a vm soon 😄. Already tested it with Firefox and it doesn't phone home afterwards but just have to check chrome!
