Tbh, after I freshly installed my pc, I use Notepad++ over Sublime TE.
(A big part in this might be me being to lazy 😅) -
Be fair. We all immediately install Notepad++ as a drop in replacement for the execrable pile of steaming ordure that is Microsoft Notepad, a so-called "text editor" that still doesn't understand line endings!

Orionss28868yNotepad++ is such a good text editor to code a little, and it's open source. So yes, I use it when I'm working on open source projects :p

I don't use Windows at all for development (Linux + Vim, Atom & Jetbrains suite)...
But when booting Windows for gaming I use notepad++ as a default because it starts faster than most editors — which is great when you just quickly want to take a peek at the contents of a readme. -
When you actually know that one guy that has Wine on his Linux with the sole purpose of using notepad++

CCTrollz7438yEvery editor has its place. For notepad++ that's usually checking logs and config files. For some editors, its at the bottom of the bin. 😁

@ErwinJanssen Bullshit you don't know that guy he doesn't exist, I will not except that. The human race is better than that. You don't buy a Bugatti Veyron and push it around town. If you really know this guy kill it with fire, because whatever it is it ain't human.

Oh well of course! I think he understands and utilizes the environment a lot better than most people understand visual studio, it's just a harder lifestyle @Wildgoose
