There's a device which is like a sensor that goes on your head that tracks your brainwaves and maps out how attentive/focussed you are during work hours, so that your employer can review it later.

It's like keystroke monitoring but on steroids.

The world is fucked.

They are in for a surprise. The ability to focus eight hours a day five days a week is actually a pretty rare ability. Almost no one can do that. So this might finally prove to the selfimprovement hipster workaholics, that they are literally wasting their time lying to themselves.

They are in for a surprise, because that shit simply does not work 😂.

I've done fair share of projects with those things, and they are unreliable, easy to fool, and hardly accurate.

@CoreFusionX Maybe it is not as effective. But my question is, why ? just why ?

Why do employers feel like they have to get every cent's worth that they pay to the employees?

Why aren't employers willing to put a tracker on their own heads to tell their peers what they are thinking about?

It's just pathetic. Technology just gets invented because people just gotta find a way to make money.

Friendly reminder that things can't happen if we don't let them happen.

The first fool that willingly puts that on their head because their company told them so should be ritualistically burned in a magic circle and offered to satan. And the rest of us should actually just say "no", make sure your contract doesn't require you to do it, and if it does, then actually leave the company. Every industry and company stands and falls with it's employees, and I for one would rather flip burgers than deal with this level of bullhshit

@CoreFusionX Don't worry, they will work sooner or later - at least on the neurotypical persons. They will never be able to detect what you focus on, but they will be able to provide plenty of evidence for the fact, neurotypical persons really don't focus a lot over the day.

I can't wait till they test them on professional drivers - that will be a real captain obvious experience.
