This a hybrid rant/question - I'm just getting into golang/go and loving bits of it but feeling that I am needing to import a new cunting package to get basic stuff done that every other language has out of the box (that is the rant) - eg fmt package is needed to print. Is this the downside of go or am I missing something fundimental?
