...who tf writes these requirements!?

    A worked at a very small company and our (technophobe) CEO would write all of our job postings. They made such little sense they sounded like they were scams.

    I've seen some doozies. It's like they take all the technology they are using, plan to use, and have ever used and put them all in a blender.

    @kheftel lately I've been seeing "5 years experience with the cloud". Which is hilarious because cloud computing (for my line of work) is still in its infancy. No one has had 5 years to get that experience.

    Haha yeah. Or "5 years of swift" right when swift came out.

    @bluehiro Isn't the cloud just renamed "mainframes" which has been about since what, the 70s?

    @nmunro absolutely. In fact part of the problem is that cloud means different things to different people. Without context they might actually be talking about an AS400 hosted by IBM in the "cloud". I'm just really growing to hate the term...
