I want to rant about my supervisor but I'm emotionally too exhausted to even put sentences together.

    @UnicornPoo at least it helped me.

    @UnicornPoo I'm not that evil unfortunately. I don't wish him bad, I just wish he could communicate what he wants like a normal person. In a professional setting and as a phd student, this is very disheartening.

    Aimless and unintelligible cursing always helps me.

    @theKarlisK even then I can't. It's more like a mental block. 👀

    How long you been at it? Sadly this is all too common amongst PhD students :(

    @AlmondSauce about a year. A tad less. We do have communication issues, and I'm not gonna just blame him. My ADHD and his love of finishing his sentences is the first problem. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    @NoMad Would trying to draft more comms in advance, and less face to face help?

    I know it's not a golden bullet, just trying to make odd suggestions that may have some use.

    Also did you just change your username back to something I recognise or am I going mad?!

    @AlmondSauce lol no you ain't mad. I changed it back, finally!
    It won't work cuz the man doesn't like to write shit down unless it's a grant proposal or paper. That's another issue, that I can't point to something he wrote and say "but that's what you said!" 😮‍💨

    @NoMad Cunts like that are the worst. I figured though that if you write up what he says and ask him to confirm it being correct in an email, it’s as good as him writing it. and it’s a perfectly reasonable request plus it will annoy the him because he will not be able to deny it.
