My boss previously had a habit of dropping by my desk, standing behind me and comment on what was on screen. Like: -"That looks cool, but maybe do it like this instead?"

A colleague of mine coined it Cowboy Management, when the boss shoots feature requests from the hip, walking down the hallway. :)

@BinaryProvider I can totally relate, they just know ways to make programmer's lives harder xP
