Googling for Angular (>=2) documentation and finding AngularJS instead feels like cancer.

If Google was going to "update" to what is functionally a new framework, they should've named it differently instead of trying to piggyback on the popularity of AngularJS. Sure, there's similarities, but let's be realistic here.

Before anyone says "Just use React", I love React, but you can't always choose your stack at work. :(

Well...the previous version is called angular 1. The new version is simply called angular.

@Ready Yeah, Angular >=2 "should" be referred to as Angular. And Angular 1 "should" be referred to as AngularJS. But look at this image and tell me if the most important guy in the room, Google's search engine, agrees.

And so, you have to google by explicitly noting the version. Even if you google "Angular 4 _____", you'll find more AngularJS than you would like.

@qqJS ...why wouldn't you just go to angular.io and read the docs?...

They should change the name to tangular

I agree that they should have changed the name. It only causes confusion.
